REQ- Network Magic Pro clone

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you knew of a freeware equivalent to Network Magic at: http://www.networkmagic.com/

WinXP Pro
Dell 8400 and Sony Vaio
IE7
DLink DL-524

I once tried this prog and liked the way I could share info/files between my Sony and Dell, and as well learn about what was happening wirelessly within my vicinity.

I guess it's obvious how poorly versed I am with networking, needing a program to do this.

Any thoughts about this, maybe where I can learn a little about networking my two computers together with my wireless router, or a freeware to help me share files between the
two.
