Hey all,
I am looking for a portable program (program that can be installed without admin privilages, or one that can be run from a USB key) for making flow charts. It doesn't need to have a lot of bells and whistles. I am in need of this asap.

Two possibilities come to mind:
1) OOo Draw: <http://portableapps.com/apps/office/openoffice_portable> with additional flow-chart symbols(1st one on list: <http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/gallery/index.html>
2) Network Notepad: <http://www.networknotepad.com/index.htm> as the name implies, this is more network-topology-related but can be modified. I don't know whether this is portable...

Hey all,
I've used one for a while called Visual Thought 1.4. Nice, simple, quick, and very small, but trying to install it on a work computer discovered it wasn't portable.
However, it is portable. I had it installed at home. I VNC-ed into my home computer, zipped everything in the VisualThought directory, and got it to me here. I copied it into a temp folder where I have write access, and it runs perfectly. A+ to visual thought 1.4.

I'm checking out Tee Tree Office right now...nice and small and quick...but missing a few features that Visual Thought has:
1. No duplicate with CTRL-D.
2. Double Clicking opens a property window, where on the second tab the text can be changed. Double clicking in Visual Thought automatically begins editing the text on the object. 3. By default, arrows on connectors are too small, and though I can increase their size, I cant change the default. 4. And something's wrong...I just got a floating point: divide by 0 error while using it! lol!
VT is much nicer IMHO.
