I wish to have a new button next to the close, maximize and minimize button. A minimize to tray button for all standard windows, including console windows. On that way I wish to minimize programs which doesn`t support native tray mode.
Can you suggest me some freeware? |

I was looking for such also, but in the end I ended with TrayIt, which does not offer such a button, but with using <Ctrl> button or right click you can minimize to tray instead of task bar. Also you can define applications that should be minimized to tray always.

MinMaxExtender is well worth a look. Small, no install, slight - documented - bug.

Personally I recommend thewonderfulicon and right click on the min button to min to tray

Hi Michael - There's a free third party program called TrayMin which used to be available from PC Mag which will do this. You can still get it here: http://pacon.free.fr/traymin.zip Works fine.
