that has grown up?
Immaturity seems to be the standing social order of the day for what used to be a quality newsgroup, full of good people and plenty of information. Now, it's rubbish, piled high and deep, with the occasional gem.

What does the group look like if you ask Outlook Express to not download the posts of those whom you consider to be the worst offenders? |

Killfiles are wondrous things. I use mine extensively. 
I've been in and out of this group since the '90's. Eventually the trolls will go back under their respective bridges and things will calm down. Just be patient. |

I killfiled the usual suspects long ago, hummer, bareass and sadly enough Franklin, since his ended up being the only posts I kept seeing with the other two nimrods quotes still attached. I've been in enough flame wars of my own not to preach, so I k/f. Except now today there's all this.
I swear this has gone on so long it's beyond idiotic. Susan has nothing to apologize for but hummerhead and bigass sure do. And in Frankie would stop playing there game it would be almost a complete shutout.
I don't care if Susan defends herself, she above all has the right to. Everyone else who keeps jumping in (included moi) is only extending this shite.
I cannot express my utter disdain in words for the two major trolls who have done pretty good job trashing this place the last few months. For the love of God let's just keep ignoring their baby bat shit crazy babbling and stop giving them just what they want.

Responding with the singular word of 'teddy' was started as a campaign against Aafussy(1) by a gent at shell city(2) about 4 or five years ago. The idea was, if everyone just "teddied" as a response to his posts, maybe he'd give up and go away.
I imagine that our teddy poster dreams of something similar for his targets.

Spamming ACF with 60 odd posts (so far) containing the word Teddy! looks counter productive to me and will earn him a place in peoples' killfiles as he rightly deserves.
Then what? He morphs and starts up all over? hhmmm. |
He's the only poster being killfiled by me right now, as he's the only poster I've seen here who absolutely NEVER has anything even remotely interesting to say. |
