I have been trying for two days to transfer my dvd to my zune and am completely unsucsessful? and im three seconds from throwing my zune out the window... well not really but im still rly annoyed. any help??

For the older Zune 30 devices, you need to convert your videos to WMV format. for the newer Zune 4/8/80 gb devices, you need WMV or MP4 format.

If your videos were purchased from iTunes, they'll be protected, and you can't transfer them (legally) to your Zune.

If you just have a conversion issue (i.e. iPod uses .mp4 and Zune works with .avi or .wmv), just go to download some software to convert your video file. You can try some good conversion software here: http://www.freedvdripper.org

Everytime that I go to load a video podcast my zune software crashes. I don't have an issue with audio podcasts. What am I doing wrong?

You can put your music on your computer into Zune easily as long as it is DRM free. Zune looks for music in the My Music folder. Just move all the music there.

As for DVDs, there is no way that I know of to legally download them for free. Use DVDs you already own. Then if the file gets corrupted or otherwise needs to be replaced you have the original to work with.

Since 2.5 I now have duplicate podcasts. Any clue why? Also, if I have more of one episode of a certain podcast, the Zune will automatically play the next one after it played the first. I dont want that to happen because if I don't have time to listen to it, the next time I plug my Zune it and it updates, it will remove it as played (even though I haven't yet). Any hints? Thanks!
