Obvious typo. Of course you "cannot" do it. Ron asked you to support your claims and you cannot. No idea why you want him to continue showing you up to be a fool though.

Oh, nice selective quoting Fitzsimons, they have a name for people like you. Here's the *FULL* text of that message. Make sure you take note of the part where I say I will back up my claims if MoRon can be bothered to do the same:

John Fitzsimons, you obviously haven't read the thread in its entirety. If you had, you would have seen that Ron May started the pissing contest in his first two posts, by slagging down BB's website. He could have by-passed Ari's original comment but couldn't resist the opportunity of sniping.
It was those criticisms that Me Here responded to, and the evidence is there to see ... for those wanting to look.
Since then, Ron May's been arguing, and also lying using his same old, same old bullying tactics, and trying to grab the moral high ground. That is how he operates.
I expect nothing else from Ron May, after all, he's a socialist with a strong authoritarian streak. <sigh>. |

That's about the ONLY response you could have had after you shot yourself in the foot again with yet *ANOTHER* unfounded claim, this time on "selective quoting." You proved *FOR* me again, in front of anyone still reading this, exactly how fucking stupid you are.
One thing you haven't considered is that you're not really equipped for a battle of wits and you're making a record of it. The more you post, the more you provide me with a list of Message-ID's to beat you up with anytime later. <g> This one I can just about guarantee you'll see again in a thread with more readers (where it'll do more good) the next time you run your mouth without thinking so others can see exactly what you are:
Message-ID: <ts6864p8jpnut0k05fsc8escqempk5ct0l@4ax.com>
The beauty part is that you're screwed no matter what you do.
If you respond, you'll give me more material to work with. If you don't respond, you won't be able to say later that you addressed it.
Keep up the good work!
Now back to the fun and games:
I repeat the unanswered question for the TWELFTH time in a row:

My question was ASKED first and it will be ANSWERED first or we'll just continue. I'm fine with that. The more opportunities you have to screw up, the better. |

I'll get back to you, but it *will* take some time. I've got some plans this weekend. Meanwhile, it would help if you could point to where you raised objections about E4M at the time in ACF so I can get a full picture, including what others had to say about it. |
P.S. Sparky, while you're waiting, take a look at this:
Message-ID: <7t2u541lhp224omn0emot3mls8uglve607@4ax.com>
And let me know if you think there's anything I (not Ari) wrote that needs to be proven, or whether the critique stands on its own. |

That was probably your safest reply - keeping your mouth shut. Too bad you didn't do it before you decided to start this.
My question was asked first. It will be answered first:
I repeat the unanswered question for the THIRTEENTH time in a row:
| Quote: |
| Back up your claim, shit for brains. Which programs on the Pricelessware list are "crap"? |
You can't answer it, but I won't allow you to escape it either. |
You two are beyond tedious. "Me" is righ of course, but then I doubt there's a software list of any type on the whole entire planet that doesn't include some crap, so betting against him was a succker's wager in the first place .
So to (hopefully) put an end to this nonsense I'll provide one of the examples you keep whining about:
E4M - http://www.pricelessware.org/thelist/sec.htm
In its heyday this was a dubious piece of software at best. Rumored to be stolen from a known purveyor of snake oil, questionable as to licensing and efficacy (users could have suddenly been liable for whatever fee the owner decided to charge), not very widely accepted or reviewed, and to top it all off it was abandoned about 6 years ago and rewritten entirely, into one of the most respected pieces of software of its type which *doesn't* appear on the Pricelessware list.
Now, maybe you can explain how software of questionable viability and usability, in Lew of software that's far superior in every way possible, isn't a text book example of "crap".
Think about it as long as you like. There's no time limit. |
Yeah, sorry about that Sparky. I just wanted to see how long this zealot would carry on trying to justify an untenable position simply because someone "dared" criticise his Tiki God (Pricelessware).
I'll stop responding to him now because it's having an effect on normal people.
Cheers
