2Flyer Screensaver Builder Standard (KELL): If you install this, I hope you like it. I didn't like it. I was about to uninstall when I found a warning - from another sucker who'd tried it - saying that it had taken out his wallpaper when he uninstalled. Not wanting the same experience, I let it sit on my system for a couple of months. When I did get up the nerve to remove it, disaster struck. YES, it took out my wallpaper, BUT that wasn't enough for it. It also removed files from Windows and WindowsSystem32 and I'm still not sure what else it devoured. I had to restore the registry, download Windows files from the internet and re-install Java. I'm not confident that I'm through yet.
TreePad X Enterprise 384 Gb (KELL): This is the best Information Manager ever made. I was thrilled when I was finally able to purchase it and I enjoyed every minute of the few months it worked.
One day it crashed and ever since then it crashes whenever another program is opened and/or I already have another program open and start switching back and forth. So now I have a wonderful, useless, expensive program sitting there on my system that does pretty much - nothing. It is useful only to look up information in the databases that I've already created, but attempting other actions eventually causes it to hang and die. Support is slow and disinterested. The attitude is that it must be something on my system. OK, maybe it is, but Treepad X Enterprise is the only program that I have this problem with. Hmmmmm.
My system is XP, SP2. If you are using something else, it may work just fine for you.
My Notes Center (scarn): i backup Kell 100% in his statements. the only difference is, i am a recent user. and i absolutely love this app! i have been using programs like this for years. but none have the security of my notes center. everything can be passworded and nothing can be viewed unless you allow it. i am a privacy loving person. i dont want anyone seeing my notes, diary, or anything i am writing for that matter. unless or until i am ready to show them myself! there is away mode. which locks your notes down from prying eyes if you say, need to go to the bathroom quick. then there is stealth mode. which hides the app from the tray or from any view for that matter, if you need to leave for longer spells. just setup a key combo, then, when you return, you just hit that key combo and BAM! my notes center is back and ready for action. the developer is quick to help with any questions or problems. i had a small problem with a couple crashes when deleting newly created notes. (this was during my initial trials of the app.) within 24 hours (i went ahead and purchased MNC during this period, cuz i fell in love with it. even with the couple crashes!)i was sent a link to a beta build, havent had a crash since!! how cool is that!! very cool in my book. i highly recommend my notes center to anyone who needs a powerful text editor/notes/diary/password storage/software key storage, etc,etc. very customizable interface. and lots of cool options and features. the options for use are pretty much limited only by you. again, if you use other PIM like software, you owe yourself a trial of this program. i guarantee once you try it, you will love it and buy it. full price is a true bargain, this discount is a no brainer buy. many thanks to kell and dmitry the dev!
