skysurfer (Jun 12, 2009): eventually made it to the actual download page, and the link doesn't work. no super for me. will find something else.
wguru (May 14, 2009): build 35 (or any other?) doesn't fit on netbook display screens (no UI for display except skins). No support, forum or otherwise. SWUPER forum keeps (supposedly) loqading and never finishes. Seems they also have nixed any and all Google-able forum posts.
Jupi (Mar 17, 2009): DO NOT DOWNLOAD 2009! Find a 2008 version! It used to be a great free program thath converts about any video/audio format. But the 2009 version doesn't work! I got tons of errors and can convert absolutely nothing. It took me hours to find an older version.
Super 2008 (Feb 15, 2009): better not to replace the old version. got a few problems with that new release, too
GUDsine (Feb 06, 2009): do NOT upgrade if you have an older version, the new version doesn't work at all, i haven't been able to convert a single file since downloading the 3.5 build, all i get are error messages with no real explanation why other than a blanket nonsense reason that doesn't really apply. not to mention it corrupts any older versions if you try to down grade. weak execution and no fixes available.
(Feb 01, 2009): It's a good idea to click the Big Green button "Download" to download it.
Al (Jan 31, 2009): I couldn't find where to download the stupid program.
Soccercrazyigboman (Jan 25, 2009): I love this program because of it's vast conversion ability. but i hate the fact that the audio looses a bit of quality whenever you convert it and that the conversion itself is slow. I really don't know how to fix it, it doesn't even use up 3/4 of my computer's processor and when i try to set priority to high, it says access is denied even though i am running it as the adminstrator. other that this program is well SUPER! considering that it's freeware.
arabesque (Oct 07, 2008): I am tempted to repeat the word excellent, that is how I rated this free software. Lengthy procedures before you can hit the final download link is a minor issue for a free software, after all using a computer is never being spoon fed. Super handles very well my Hi-Def *.mkv to *.avi movies conversion. Lastly, the fact is: video encoding/decoding/rendering is best left to fast machines... one should know the limitations of his equipment.
CJ (Sep 21, 2008): I give it a good review because I used it for the longest time, but the new version I am unable to use. I have tried it on my own computer as well as 2 friends and I once installed, it doesnt work and says that the computers dont have enough memory. My biggest gripe about Super is not the program itself, but erightsoft's website. They buried the download link in there so that when people go to the site, they may accidentally click on ads thinking they are the download links. Of course this is good for erightsoft since they get paid for each ad click, but its bad because word of mouth is one of the most valuable resources when advertising, and if people have trouble finding the download link, they go somewhere else, and if they do that, they tell their friends about other programs rather than Super. I think Super would be a household name if they didnt make their site so hard to navigate. I have tutorials explaining how to convert videos and what not, and I link back to erightsoft's site, but then I have to explain to all my visitors how to find the download once they are there.

freddyzdead (Jun 24, 2008): Sure, SUPER supports a lot of formats and kind of works, but I can't understand the rave reviews some ppl give it. The UI is super-annoying, options are obscure, some needed ones are absent, no meaningful progress bar, no preview, the list goes on and on. The support forum is useless, no search ability, so you don't know if your question has already been asked. Did I mention SUPER is s-l-o-w? And it takes 99% of CPU so you can't do anything else while it's running. Apart from all that, it's not too bad. Sometimes it's the only thing that will do the job. But usually when SUPER is finished I have to encode the avi again with virtualdub to fix the things that SUPER didn't do right.
manu (Apr 20, 2008): muy rapido y bueno
Jules Sans Scrupules (Feb 11, 2008): They could just use bittorrent for the downloads, you know? SUPERstupid is what erightsoft people are. The software isn't great either. User interface is obviously designed by the same psycho anti-social nutcase that created the website and dreadfully messy webforum. Unreadable inverted terribly small fonts, weird hidden but needed option buttons etc. The works. Oh and e'right'soft: The fact that it is free does in no way merit such disastrous nonsense. It's just VERY BAD and stupid to do it like this. Period.
ugom (Nov 06, 2007): what to say, just try this stuff, never regret
ron (Nov 05, 2007): good utility
alrashed_hay (Sep 23, 2007): very good
(Sep 06, 2007): Wow. Just wow. An encoder that supports just about all major audio, video, and even picture inputs, and converts them to many major formats with good quality, all in a simple gui, simple user interface, and several advanced options like selecting no audio, or no video after the conversion, or setting it's resolution or audio bitrate, it's all there. And if you don't want to mess with all that bitrate, resolution, etc junk, most of it's preconfigured for you anyway with preferable settings. Encoding will take a while depending on the machine you have, and how big the file(s) is/are, but this's to be expected with any encoding. What, you can encode multiple files too? And this is all for free? GET THIS, you won't regret it, and MAKE SURE to donate for such a wonderful program.

bdforever (Jan 22, 2007): Well, except for the crashes on low-power machines, the program is great. But I wonder what cranky guy is operating that website. Downloads there don't work unless you follow a lengty procedure fiddline around with your IE. Strange Webite from a strange guy
